Thanks for this. I only knew Virginia Postrel as the editor of Reason. I appreciate this introduction to her work and her thought.

Incredible interview. Although I don't recall ever seeing the author's name, I quickly became aware of her work because a close friend of mine was RAVING about The Fabric of Civilization. Now I want to read her entire bibliography after this post!

Thank you! For me it started with The Substance of Style. Virginia is such a good writer - lots of "zings" in her observations. I recommend ALL her books, for lots of enlightenment!
